Looking at Anxiety

Looking at anxiety can cause a lot of confusion for many people, as the way we are told it exists often isn’t true. Instead of telling you the same things that you’ve probably heard a million times before, I’m going to show you some concepts that have really helped my clients.

Once you understand anxiety this way, it will change the way that you look at anxiety forever.

What is Anxiety?

Anxiety is basically part of our natural protection mechanisms. When we are in a situation that presents us with a threat or a danger, our natural systems alert us to this so that we can take action (or not). We are supposed to feel anxiety in certain situations. It is a natural feeling that has helped us and our ancestors to stay alive.

The problems with anxiety happen when this natural protection system becomes over-sensitive or is being fired in situations where there isn’t really a threat or a danger. If you are in a safe place and nothing is threatening you or your safety then there is no logical reason for you to feel anxious. Your subconscious mind and body don’t do logic though. Only your conscious mind deals in logic and this can be where some of the issues start.

Mind's different ways of looking at anxiety
The conscious mind and the subconscious mind have different ways of looking at anxiety

A Conscious Way of Looking at Anxiety

When your conscious mind is looking at anxiety, it has to rationalise and make sense of it. It needs everything to be logical and ordered to understand. Whilst your conscious mind has the power to dive deep into complex understandings in order to find answers, it doesn’t understand how the body and subconscious mind are operating.

You have a feeling in your body (let’s call it anxiety) and your conscious mind wants to know why the feeling is there. It scans the environment looking for threats and dangers but can’t find any. It then gets frustrated and starts scanning backwards and forwards in time looking for what happened to you in the past.

“When did you last feel like this?”

Transderivational Searching

This process is known as….you guessed it…transderivational searching. Your mind scans back to times in the past that could be related to something you are dealing with in the present moment. It finds an event and gathers the information from that event. It then looks at the future potential outcomes related to where you are now and what could possibly happen in order to rationalise the feeling. It then starts to make stories (often with images) about how things could play out for you.

This then continues the initial feeling of anxiety you had and can also make it feel stronger than it initially was. A feeling on its own can’t last for very long. It needs the conscious mind to fuel it with stories in order to keep it going. Well done conscious mind. You’ve now taken a small feeling and turned that molehill into a giant mountain.

A Subconscious and Body Integrated Approach to Anxiety

The subconscious mind and your body are integrated as one. They both work together very well. While the conscious mind likes to pretend it is in charge of everything, it really isn’t. Everything starts in the subconscious and body then the conscious mind jumps in and creates thoughts to match what is already happening.

Your body and subconscious mind notice a feeling in the body and are more like…

“Oh there’s a feeling”

Now your subconscious can be much more abstract when it comes to reasoning and the storing of memories. It is much more based on feelings than logic. It will sometimes connect a bunch of memories together based on how you felt. Imagine a set of children’s blocks standing on top of one another. The bottom block is the first time your body held onto that feeling and each block up is each time it has held onto that feeling or a similar one that it has put in the same box as the initial one.

body stores unresolved feelings
Your body will tend to store unresolved feelings

Why Does The Body Store Past Negative Feelings

Your body will store negative feelings when you have been through an experience and the issues weren’t resolved. Now, it isn’t always necessary for you to release every negative feeling as it happens. Sometimes you have to go away and think about it. Sometimes you need to learn something in order to release the feeling. Sometimes you need to be able to forgive or let go in order for the feeling to release. Sometimes it can be that your mind believes that the feeling is too much for you to handle so it locks it down in the body. Simply allowing the feeling to come up and experiencing it in its entirety can often be enough to release it.

What Are Negative Feelings?

The straightforward answer is that there are no such things as negative feelings. There are just feelings. Once you can grasp this concept, life will become so much easier for you. The negative feelings are often showing you what you need to work on and resolve from your past. If you are going through grief or loss then you need to feel that in its entirety. If you don’t then you’ll end up with a trapped emotion inside of you causing you issues.

People refer to negative feelings or emotions as the ones that they don’t want to feel.

  • Anger
  • Sadness
  • Hurt
  • Jealousy
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Shame
  • Guilt
  • Loss

There is nothing at all wrong with these emotions. In their proper place, they are there to guide us and help us to do what we need to do. They can lead us out of where we are and into where we need to be. When you can love depression as much as you do happiness and joy, life will open so many more doors for you.

where does anxiety come from
All “negative” or “bad” feelings are rooted in the past

How Our Present Anxiety is Rooted In The Past

So you have a feeling inside of you that your mind has labelled as anxiety. This feeling has a birthing point. A time when it was first experienced by you. The unresolved feeling always stays at the same age as when it was created. If you first experienced anxiety at 5, each time that you feel it in the future, you will go back to having the coping mechanisms of a 5-year-old in order to deal with the situation that you are currently in.

Imagine trying to deal with being anxious as a 5-year old. At that age, you have very limited skills and are in no way as skilled as you are now. Yet this is what happens to you every time that you experience anxiety.

Imagine for a moment that you have a brand new computer. When you get it out of the box and start it up everything works beautifully. You install some software onto it to perform certain tasks and these too work really well. Imagine how well that computer would run if you didn’t update the software on it for 5 years. Now imagine not updating it for 20 years, 30 years, 40 years even.

This is how your mind and body are running when it comes to those unresolved emotions. You are literally running without those out of date and buggy programs causing issues in your life. Some issues you will be aware of and some issues you won’t be. Isn’t it about time you gave yourself an upgrade? You’re worth that, right?

Looking at Anxiety Upgrades for Your Body and Mind

In order to receive these upgrades, we have to start looking at anxiety and where it comes from for you. We need to bring the adult self and help the child self to release the old feeling. Whatever it is that needs to be altered for you to release the old programs we will do. We look at what needs to be put into place for you to be able to change how you perceive that feeling in the future.

Remember, there is no such thing as a bad feeling and anxiety in its true form is there to keep us safe. We never look at getting rid of something that is there to keep us safe. We just learn how to use it correctly. Think dialling down that over-sensitive car alarm so that it can tell the difference between a bus going past and someone trying to break into your car.

Looking at Anxiety and How it Could Be Affecting Your Life

Here is a great video for you to watch about various scenarios of how anxiety could be affecting your life. It can really help you to have a different way of looking at anxiety.

Are You Ready to Receive Your Upgrades?

If you have had enough of your thoughts and feelings being in control of you and you are ready to take back control I’m here. We can work together to release the old buggy programs that have been causing you issues and bring in the new programs that can help you to feel much safer, more peaceful, grounded, centred and balanced than ever before.

3 signs of depression

Depression can become so overwhelming and debilitating that it can be almost impossible to function. Completing simple, everyday tasks like bathing and eating become too much to bear against the sheer weight of depression, which often feels like a hopeless pit in your stomach or like an elephant is sitting on your chest.

The worst part about depression is that it doesn’t discriminate. Even if you seem like a person who “has it all” and with everything anyone could want, you can still suffer from crippling despair and sadness, like how healthy people can still find themselves with terminal illnesses. Fortunately, there are many ways to help deal with depression, with hypnotherapy being a practical solution available to anyone who needs it.

Here are the common causes of depression and how hypnotherapy can help you overcome them:

  1. Feelings of Unworthiness
depression and unworthiness
Depression often leads to feelings of being unworthy and not being good enough.

Feeling like you don’t deserve your good fortune or your dreams and desires often leads to depression. Thanks to the Internet, we are more exposed to other people’s accomplishments, and we pay particularly more attention to those who look like they’re doing much better than we are. As a result, we feel pressured to do more and be more because, as we are, we aren’t enough.

The truth is that even the most revered, beautiful celebrities have suffered from having to look perfect all the time, especially women. Like Rita Hayworth and Ava Gardner, who were renowned for their allure and beauty, well-loved icons have all chosen to live life away from the spotlight because of the sheer pressure of maintaining a perfect façade. Actors and athletes feel the same pressure as well, believing that they need to ‘keep performing’ to continue the charade of constantly feeling happy and ‘having it all.’

However, hypnotherapy can help you address these beliefs by guiding you through your thought process and uncovering why you don’t believe you are worthy enough. By untangling your thought patterns and sifting the negative from the positive, you’ll eventually realise that you are, indeed, deserving of everything you want, even your wildest dreams. By addressing the root of the matter, you can gain the confidence you need to get up and pursue your goals and live the life you’ve always wanted.

  1. Adhering to Other People’s Ideals of Happiness

Until recently, the popular notion of happiness involved having a partner, children, material wealth, and a successful career. However, the path to these is often lined with making choices that sometimes do not make you feel comfortable. As a result, you may ignore your inner thirst for goals like establishing yourself as an interior designer, a music producer, or a football star in favour of more traditional pathways, like getting into corporate finance. After all, that’s what you’ve been told is the key to success, right?

trying to please others depression
Trying to please others means diminishing your own needs and desires.

However, not following your heart’s desire and adhering to society’s ideals of happiness has been proven to make you feel miserable. Many people have reported feeling depressed because they did not pursue the career they knew they were meant for, causing them to suppress their love for things that genuinely make them happy. However, by seeing a hypnotherapist, you can undo the beliefs that made you think that there was no other way to be happy than by following society’s ideals. Working with a professional will help you unpack the thoughts and perspectives that hold you back from what you truly want to do, allowing you to live a life without regrets.

  1. Unhealthy Lifestyles

Regularly consuming junk food and staying sedentary is not only bad for your physical wellbeing, but your mental health as well. Unfortunately, depression can lead you into a vicious cycle, where it becomes too difficult to take care of yourself, so you allow your physical health and hygiene to deteriorate. However, it’s essential to realise that you are always in control of what you eat, think, and do, no matter how impossible it may seem.

What you put into your body directly affects how you feel, and hypnotherapy can help you make healthier choices to improve your overall wellbeing. It can change your views and perspectives, helping you believe that exercising regularly, taking care of yourself, and eating the right foods will allow you to lead a healthy, fulfilling life.

Conclusion

Depression is a widespread phenomenon affecting millions of people worldwide, which means that you likely know a few people who have grappled with it. However, by understanding its typical causes and seeing a hypnotherapist to help you recover, you can clear negative energy and put yourself on the right path to living a life you love.

Healing body trauma therapy Leeds

Most people associate emotional trauma with only mental wounds, believing that it doesn’t manifest physically. However, the reality is that the stress and trauma we carry in our minds often presents themselves in our bodies, even when we don’t realise it. It becomes body trauma, which requires transformational energy healing to address.

Anxiety has been on the rise since the pandemic has wreaked havoc on the world. More people feel overwhelmed and panicked at the seemingly endless amount of negative news on TV and social media. Some have even said that they have started to feel sick due to their distress. As a result, more and more people are experiencing body trauma and are at a loss with addressing it.

Understanding Body Trauma

Feeling upset and scared doesn’t necessarily have to come from situations that directly affect you; mere exposure to traumatic information from the media you consume is often enough to traumatise you. Your body will be wired to anticipate and evade threats constantly, even when there aren’t any immediate ones present. This constant strain on yourself ultimately leads to body trauma. Survivors of accidents, abuse, and other tragic events have even more difficulty processing this, given their already existing trauma.

Humans are programmed to respond to danger in three ways: fight, flight, or freeze. When you experience a traumatic event, your body commits this feeling to memory, along with the defence mechanisms it has set to fight the trauma. These are kept in the chemicals in your body associated with emotions. By storing memories that contain signs of danger, your body can respond more immediately, helping you avoid threatening situations more easily. However, this fight-or-flight energy can get jammed in your body, overwhelming you and preventing you from responding correctly.

Dealing With Body Trauma Through Transformational Energy Healing

Traumatic experiences do not occur gently or slowly; a surge of strong emotions often accompanies them. While it is imperative to process these emotions healthily, such as crying, resting, or even exercising, traumatised people usually cannot act upon them. Thus, the body looks for an alternative way to express this energy, such as flashbacks or bad dreams. It can even manifest physiologically through neck pains, headaches, and other health conditions. It also affects how you think and perceive your surroundings, making you feel inappropriate guilt and causing you to deem harmless situations as dangerous.

Since trauma changes your body and rewires your brain, you are more susceptible to more trauma. For you to address this adequately, you’ll need transformational energy healing, which will help your body reconfigure its defence system. It will work to relax your body’s response and inform you that you are not in danger, so there is no need to be on high alert. We communicate to your body’s consciousness through energy healing, ensuring it receives and comprehends that it is safe and that it should ease its guard. Once your body calms down, it will be much easier to address the mental and emotional parts of trauma, particularly when determining the emotional energies your body consciousness requires to recover and feel well again.

Conclusion

Pursuing energy healing is a great step towards recovering from body trauma, particularly in an incredibly distressing and upsetting time. By focusing on the physiological aspect of the trauma, it will be more manageable to address the emotional and mental elements, providing you with a holistic healing method.

coaching and therapy for sexual violence

Violence and trauma can leave deep scars on any person. Healing and coping are different for every person, especially when it comes to dealing with experiences related to sexual violence.

Recovering from sexual violence is complex and can take many forms, as the term “healing” may have a different meaning for every survivor. But one thing’s for sure, when it comes to moving forward, survivors need to learn how to hold space for both their pain and the beauty of their resilience.

A survivor experiences waves of emotions — often a mixture of different feelings all at once. Some feelings include hopelessness, surrender, heartbreak, and grief. Still, despite the blanket of despair, there is always a stream of love and gratitude that makes its way through the cracks and broken pieces.

Though getting the latter may be quite challenging, it’s known that self-care practices, transformational energy healing, and coaching balances and centres the survivor’s mind and body, allowing them to find the gems in their innermost spaces and experiences.

Breathing In Self-Compassion

One of the things healing and coaching teaches survivors is self-compassion and how it demands to be felt. With that being said, the process of learning self-compassion emerges in an organic and non-linear way, which often tests our patience, faith, and acceptance.

There are numerous ways to practice self-compassion that integrate the body, mind, and spirit. The whole practice encourages you to focus on the space that you have and forces you to identify the sources of your resilience and remember to connect your core as you tread traumatic waters.

Some survivors get the help of coaches and transformational energy healing specialists to help them work intentionally with their bodies and minds to breathe in light, self-compassion, and home, all while gravitating towards balance.

Remembering That Scars are Stronger Than Skin

Clarissa Pinkola Estés, author of “Women Who Run With The Wolves,” said, “It is good to remember that in tensile strength and ability to absorb pressure, a scar is stronger than skin.”

One gets a scar after a wound heals, so this is the perfect analogy of what it is like from healing from sexual violence. When you get hurt, you learn new lessons and take with you the pain and experience that lead you to this moment, making you see your scars as a sign of survival instead of being broken.

However, many people still think that some wounds may never heal, and the scar will always be there. But it’s also good to note that even if the scar is visible, the scar does not provide additional pain. With coaching and healing, survivors are taught to see scars in this manner and to see scars as a sign of resilience and strength.

Trauma and Its Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Effects

Most sexual violence survivors don’t only experience physical effects; mental and spiritual consequences are brought along with the trauma. Abuse can undoubtedly leave an impact on a survivor’s health, including chronic stress, depression, low sex drive, fatigue, and are even at high risk for heart attack.

Other obstacles that survivors face are mental and eating disorders, all of which affect the survivor’s quality of life. For this reason, coaching and energy healing can help survivors cope with these effects and find light in surviving the abuse.

Final Thought: Coaching and Energy Healing Remind You That You Are Larger Than Life

Dealing with the wounds and trauma of sexual violence is a long journey that needs constant support. With coaching and transformational energy healing, survivors are encouraged to view themselves as large and powerful, focusing on their survival on incredibly traumatic events.

In the end, healing is a collaborative effort where the coach and the survivor work together to create a safe space where the individual can grow and, although it may take time, release their wounds’ weight and heaviness.

Sexual Abuse & Hypnotherapy

Growing up while experiencing some form of abuse can result in short-term and long-term psychological effects for people. Worst-case scenarios involve sexual abuse perpetrated by a relative, a friend, a neighbour, or a stranger.

Unfortunately, people of all ages battle sexual abuse every day. Its short-term effects involve changes in behaviour, self-esteem, sleeping patterns, and overall performance at school or work. Meanwhile, long-term effects include mental health issues, psychological disorders, and unwanted behavioural outcomes.

It’s also possible for victims of sexual abuse to have a natural tendency of blaming themselves for what happened to them during their adolescence and adulthood. If you want to know more about hypnotherapy as a way to help people who have experienced sexual abuse, then keep reading below.

Effects of Sexual Abuse on Health

Effects of sexual abuse
Sexual abuse can leave you feeling like there is something missing inside of you. The right therapy can help you to become whole once again.

People who have suffered through sexual abuse have more chances of undergoing epileptic seizures due to the changes in the part of their brain that controls their emotions. The sensations that could potentially lead to attacks involve sadness, humiliation, anger, and other intense feelings that could result in an imbalance in the brain.

Abnormal behaviour of a sexual abuse survivor can also be linked to aggression and self-destruction. Their lingering trauma can involve hormonal changes connected to a fragile part of the brain! As a result, they experience depression and retention problems, and they cultivate fear and anger towards the abuser.

Triggers of Sexual Abuse

Consulting with a doctor may be necessary to help eliminate the damage brought by sexual abuse. While it can be helpful, it’s still possible for victims to become triggered at one or several points in their lives. Triggers can happen when they least expect it, resurfacing and giving the victim a hard time to recover all over again.

All forms of abuse can leave a lasting mark on the disturbed person and can change their behaviour severely, including their beliefs and way of thinking. Their emotional and mental health is affected even after they become mature enough to clearly understand what happened.

Damage of Sexual Abuse

Damage of sexual abuse
Sexual abuse can leave you feeling like you are damaged or broken. Trauma therapy can bring those pieces back together again.

Sexual abuse that occurs at a young age usually happens to boys and girls who are violated by unsuspected relatives or members of the family. Due to their lack of knowledge on sex, they don’t realise what happened to them until later on, when it hits them that their innocence was robbed early in their lives.

The damage that sexual abuse leaves on children can severely affect them, even more so once they gather the guts to tell their parents, but don’t receive the empathy they needed at the time. Therefore, it will result in more aggressive behaviour, possibly even leading to depression and severe emotional trauma.

Hypnotherapy for Sexual Abuse

For those who have lived through abuse, hypnotherapy can help the victims let go of the pain and trauma they’ve kept with themselves while growing up. Through therapy, survivors can be relieved from having to deal with the effects of abuse, allowing them to continue living their lives without the triggers to stop them.

A professional who can perform hypnotherapy can accommodate victims of sexual, physical, emotional, and psychological abuse and help them recover from other traumatic incidents during these times. Whether you had to live through it as a child or as an adult, you can still recover from it—just remember: it’s never too late to ask for help.

Conclusion

Hypnotherapy is a private method that requires professionals who are highly experienced to maintain your trust, especially when it comes to processing and recalling your past abuse. To help you let go of your bad experiences, it’s essential to rely on a hypnotherapist because they can guarantee you’re in a safe space to open up your bad memories and be properly guided on how to get rid of them.

weight loss hypnotherapy mazarron image1
Weight loss hypnotherapy has grown in popularity over the years due to the way that people are able to become more motivated and more in control of their habits from using it.  While for some people being able to lose weight is very easy, for some people it is much more difficult.  No matter what they try to do, it always seems like a struggle and the old habits come creeping back in.

Sometimes people struggle to lose weight because they use food as a way of dealing with emotions.  Sometimes people struggle to lose weight because they are eating the wrong types of things in general.  Some of this can be from making poor choices and some of it can be from miseducation about what is good for you and what isn’t.  A lot of that has to do with influence from the food industry lobbying governments so that they can make more sales.

Here is a basic rule to follow regarding food.

If it is processed and when you read the label of ingredients, you can’t picture what they all look like, DON’T EAT IT!!!

If it is broccoli in a packet pre-chopped into florets and you can see that it is just broccoli then it’s fine.  If it has anything added to it then leave it alone!

Sometimes people struggle to lose weight because they have a poor image of themselves or they identify themselves as being overweight or fat.  This kind of self-image leads to poor choices being made subconsciously.  Sometimes these choices will be made subconsciously without you realising that you’ve picked it up and sometimes you will be conscious that you shouldn’t but there’s something inside of you pushing you to do it.  That is the part that we need to speak to using hypnotherapy.  This is where using hypnotherapy for weight loss really comes into it’s own.

Does Weight Loss Hypnotherapy Work?

Weight loss hypnotherapy will work as long as you are willing to work with it.  Let’s be honest, if I gave you a book with all of the answers to all of the questions that you’ve ever had about life and you didn’t read it, who’s responsible for you not having the answers that you are looking for?

I have had fantastic results with people that have come to see me for weight loss hypnotherapy because they have listened to what I’ve said and taken it on board.  If I feel that you aren’t going to be willing to make any changes in your life so that you can lose weight I will tell you because if I don’t think that I can help you I will tell you before you spend a single cent.

I want you to get the best out of this experience and I want you to be successful for the long term.

weight loss hypnotherapy leeds, west yorkshire image exerciseSometimes people do come along saying that they want weight loss hypnotherapy but that they aren’t prepared to change a single thing about what is making them overweight.  Hypnotherapy isn’t a magic wand and you need to be prepared to change, otherwise what’s the point of asking someone to help you change?

When you read that it sounds a bit crazy right?  This way of thinking comes up so much though in many areas of people’s lives.  They want to change but also don’t want to change.  This is because it rubs up against people’s boundary conditions.  You can watch a video about boundary conditions here.   Apologies for the quality of the visuals on the video.  It was recorded on Facebook Live but the content still stands.  Luckily boundary conditions are something that can be changed easily using hypnotherapy.

Basically you are going to get out of weight loss hypnotherapy the same amount as you put into it.  I have had gastric band hypnosis clients drop a clothing size in 1 week because they did everything that I said and put the effort into changing their life for the better.  This doesn’t happen for everyone but I have had this happen quite often.  If you are going to fight against me and the steps that I show you then no, it won’t work for you.  But then, nothing else will either.

Weight Loss Hypnotherapy or Diet Change or Exercise?

Sometimes people come for weight loss hypnotherapy and think that it’s an either/or approach.  If I do one thing then I will never have to work on all of the other areas.  This simply isn’t true.  You need to get your body moving more and you also need to look at what you are putting into your body.

If you come to me for weight loss hypnotherapy and on the back of that you start exercising regularly and eating better then that is a massive win for me and for you too.  You’ll thank yourself for it in the future.

So let’s start out by not excluding any one of these and looking instead at how they can be incorporated to help you to become healthier and happier.  I want you to be happy both inside and outside at the same time.

Exercise is essential for your body.  You need to be challenging it to be able to do more than it was previously to keep moving forwards.  I’ve had some people tell me that they can’t exercise yet I’ve never had anyone come to see me who genuinely can’t do any.  The reason why some weight loss hypnotherapy clients say that they can’t exercise is that they have an unrealistic image of exercise in their mind.  Sure you probably won’t be doing sprints and lifting heavy weights straight away but could you do armchair exercises such as armchair yoga?

You can follow a routine like the one above if you have limited mobility.  If you can’t do one movement then you move along to the next one that you can do.  You could just repeat an earlier one that you were able to complete or carry on doing the last one until you are able to do the next new move.  No excuses about exercise!

Changing your diet is also going to have massive impact on your body shape.  The 80/20 rule comes into play with nutrition.  80% of your body changes will come from nutrition and exercise will make the other 20%.  I myself don’t eat a ‘clean’ diet 100% of the time.  I eat clean 80% of the time then allow myself 20% to have what I want.  You have to be very strict about it being only 20% of the time though and that doesn’t mean you can have a day of eating garbage and not suffer the consequences.  For example, 4 days of eating clean and then on the 5th day if I get a craving for something and I feel like I actually want it then I will allow myself it for 1 meal or snack only. Then back to another 4 days of eating clean.  If I know that there is a day coming up where my diet will probably go out of the window I will plan my clean days around it to compensate.

weight loss hypnotherapy leeds, west yorkshire image nutritionCutting carbs down and increasing good fats will also have a dramatic effect on your health.  You only really need carbs if you are about to undertake rigorous exercise (and I do mean rigorous not armchair yoga etc).  The rest of the time you are better eating proteins and fats.

When you do eat carbs you need to be aware that you are eating carbs and how much sugar and starch is in certain foods including fruits and vegetables.  I highly recommend cutting down your carb intake to 150g per day initially and seeing how your body adapts to that level.  Then down to 100g after it has adjusted and then you can go lower once you are used to doing that.  Personally I alter my intake depending on activity levels and on some days I will eat only 20-30g of carbs all day.  I have plenty of energy and I am perfectly healthy but this level isn’t for everyone.  When I am in a focused phase for weight loss I will restrict myself to this level 7 days a week for 2-3 months but generally I will vary it.  Once again this isn’t for everyone and i won’t be telling you to do this.  This has to be about you and what you are happy and comfortable with.

Weight Loss Hypnotherapy.  Is It For Me?

Weight loss hypnotherapy is great for most people.  As I’ve said previously, it isn’t going to be useful for you if you don’t want to change anything that you’re currently doing that is causing you to be overweight.  Let’s be honest.  Those things NEED to change and you aren’t going to lose weight by doing things that cause you to be overweight.  Einstein once said

The definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

If you are willing to change and you want to change then yes weight loss hypnotherapy is for you.  If you aren’t then we can look at one or two sessions to help get you into that frame of mind so that you are ready.  There is always a solution!

Weight loss hypnotherapy sessions are held just a short walk from Leeds train station.  I don’t ask people to make a decision straight away.  I want you to make sure that you are ready to change your lifestyle and that this is something that you want to do.

If you are interested in weight loss hypnotherapy you can complete the contact form here.

Learn about Boundary Conditions Leeds, West Yorkshire
So one of the things that I’ve been asked about recently is boundary conditions.  What they are and how to get past them.

So rather than sharing the information with just the person that I was talking with, I thought that I would share it with everyone.

So I go to recording a Facebook Live video on my Facebook page for you to watch.  Here is the video below.

How Do Boundary Conditions Apply to You?

Like I said in the video, your boundary conditions apply to every aspect of your life.  They are kind of like your comfort zone where you feel your safest.

The trouble with that though is that if you are someone that is wanting adventure or to move forward from where you are then your comfort zone is the last place that you want to be.

You need to be able to break through your own boundaries to make that happen.

With everyone that I work with, when they break through their current boundary conditions, they find that lots of other things start to happen for them as well.  They get the benefits of resolving the issue that we worked on and also other things that they either didn’t do or didn’t think they could do also become a part of their life.

Examples Of Breaking Through Boundary Conditions

Boundary conditions Hypnotherapy in LeedsFor example a client that I worked with on resolving issues from physical abuse as a child started going to the gym and exercising regularly and then changed jobs to get a promotion.   Things that she wouldn’t have thought of doing beforehand.

Another client who came to me because he had a fixation on dying booked himself onto a German language course and started to learn German.

Another client who had been sexually abused as a child after working together went out shopping with her daughter in a busy department store (she was afraid of being in crowds previously) and got a new job.
